Our Special Donor: 

Cowan was founded in 1927 and has grown to be an organization with more than 400 employees. The Cowan family of companies includes Frank Cowan Company, Cowan Insurance Brokers, Cowan Benefits Consulting and Cowan Financial Solutions.  In 1995, The Frank Cowan Foundation was activated in honour of Frank Cowan, the company founder and continues to exist because of the ongoing success of the Cowan companies. Through this foundation, Cowan is able to make a positive difference in the communities in which it operates and grows – including the Waterloo region. Recent examples of support in our community include donations to Pathways to Education, Hospice of Waterloo Region and the Heart & Stroke ReStart a Heart, Restart a LifeAED program. By supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters - In School Mentoring Program, The Frank Cowan Foundation has helped extend the program to 127 students in our community.
